Christine wins The First Lady breaking in the lead from the off going three quarters of a length clear of the field and then she was challenged entering the home stretch losing the lead before regaining it in the final furlong driving to the wire to win by a head from All Eyes Ahead with Broomsticks Copy a quarter of a length further back in third. The winner is owned by John Henry.

How they ran.

Christine started in first leading the field till headed entering the home stretch then regained the lead in the final furlong driving to the wire to win by a head.

All Eyes Ahead started in second tracking the leader then made her challenge entering the home stretch to take up the lead only to be passed again in the final furlong driving to the wire to finish second.

Broomsticks Copy settled at the rear then ran on strongly from five lengths off the pace to finish third.

Condottieris Fox started in last place then ran on strongly getting up to finish fourth.

Pretty Little Pirate started and raced in sixth five lengths off the pace then ran on strongly making up four lengths in the home stretch to finish fifth beaten by only a length.

Lime Dancer started and raced in third before weakening down the home stretch to finish sixth.

Viking Amy broke and raced in fourth till staying on down the home stretch being passed by the fast finishers dropping back to finish last of the  seven runners.
