Too Close to Call in The Pebbles

The Pebbles looks to be a close race with a number of the runners having a chance all covering the distance in the 1.33 mark, my prediction for the first three would be Glow Bright, Street Baby and Captain Caveman.

She last ran last of seven in The Sands Point – Grade II beaten by five lengths.

Captain Caveman

Won three from fifteen winning a maiden at WO at the second attempt she was then claimed by her previous owner for $37.500 after winning again at WO by three quarters of a lengths, she then ran twice for that owner both out of the frame before being claimed by her present owner for $25.000 after finishing fifth at SAR. She has only ran twice since winning an allowance at SAR by three quarters of a length and finished second in The Noble Damsel Handicap – Grade III beaten by a length.

Won two from seven starts, a maiden at SA on her debut she was then purchased by her present owner for $65.000, winning once since The Victoriana Stakes by a length by a length, after that her last two races finishing last in both The DMR Oaks – Grade I beaten by six lengths and The Mabee Stakes – Grade II beaten by four lengths.

Won four from seven starts, purchased before going to the track by her previous owner for $35.000 winning three a maiden at MTH and two allowances at GP and SAR also finished second in her other three races. She was then purchased by her present owner for $80.000 running only once since winning an allowance at GG by six lengths.

Won three from eleven starts, a maiden at FL at the second attempt, an allowance at TUP and her last race The Riskaverse by a nose.
