How they ran.
Desolation Island settled near the rear six lengths off the pace then made steady headway to take the lead in the final furlong going on to win by a length.
Ideal Trinity stalked the leaders then ran on to finish second.
Midway close up early racing in second and headway to take up the lead in the home stretch only to be passed in the final furlong dropping back to finish third.
Sir Tom started and raced in third being passed in the home stretch to finish fourth.
Jojo Jove started and race in seventh and stayed on at one pace passing beaten horses to finish fifth.
Tin Lizzie settled at the rear seven lengths off the pace then ran on down the home stretch to finish to dead heat for sixth.
Lunar Blaze lead the field from the off only to weaken down the home stretch to dead heat for sixth.
The Perfect Day started in fourth and stayed on at one pace being passed by the quick finishers dropping back to finish eighth beaten by four lengths.
Palestinian raced in sixth from the off then weakened back to finish ninth.
Inspector Jacque never in the race started in eighth weakening back to finish last of the ten runners beaten by eight lengths.
