Three Year Olds

1st Admiration, trained by Mb Stables 

Not going to lie I definitely didn’t see this horse winning after his last start but boy did he surprise me. He ran a big race and had the perfect stalking trip and just got the money. He ran the distance in 1:41.23 and earned $240.000 for his win and got fifty Kentucky Derby points.

2nd Ranger, trained by Aer Stables 

Well although this horse didn’t win he definitely ran a winning race. He looked like he was a loaded gun but he did not have anywhere to go down the lane and by the time he got out it was too late to make a threat. He still ran a very good second and I think he will make the Derby field for sure. 

3rd Unfold, trained by Mb Stables 

Well Mb Stables almost complete the exacta but this horse was just beaten for second. He still ran a pretty good rave though and had a pretty nice stalking trip most of the way. He just couldn’t beat his stablemate and he couldn’t hold off the second place finisher either. He still ran a good race though.

4th For The Boys, trained by D J C Racing Stables 

And rounding out the superfecta right here is the one who closed pretty nicely to get up for fourth. He ran a good race and just couldn’t catch up from where he was it in the field. I think that the more distance the better with this one so if he stretches out he will be tough.

Summary 

A big win for Admiration here and he has now earned enough points to make the Kentucky Derby field most likely. He looks to have a good chance of being in the field but I also think that some of these horses use beat will be good ones also. Congratulations to Mb Stables and Admiration.
