I told ya this was going to be a good one, although I can’t be too proud, handing out a $13.60 exacta.  Still, the placing judges had to study this one for a while as Adrift At Sea and Devils Bride hit the line in unison… but, thank goodness, we didn’t have a dead-heat.  After viewing the photograph, Threshold’s Adrift At Sea was shown to just nip Fractious’ Devils Bride by the smallest of margins, taking the Colors (GIII) at CD on Memorial Day.  It was a length back to Gdp Inc’s Esprezzo in third, then another three-quarters of a length to Mb Stables’ Chic Lugo in fourth.  The final running time was 1:08.92 over the main track, listed as Fast, and only three lengths covered the field of six.
