Well a big run obviously by this filly here as she showed that her win in the Busanda was not a fluke. She sat about midpack during most of the race and then when it was time to turn it on she really turned it on to blow by everyone in front of her. She clearly liked the off track also and she just simply ran a big race and she will be heading to the Oaks I’m sure. She ran the distance in 1:43.69 and earned $120.000 for the win.

Now this filly here ran a big race in her first start for her new trainer. She was off kind of slow but then moved into a spot right behind the pacesetter. She just could not hold off the charge of the winner but she did hang in there to hold on for second. The off track did not affect her either so that is a good thing for her moving forward. She ran a pretty good second place and earned some Oaks points.

Well this filly ran a pretty good race also to run third. She sat in third the whole way around there and couldn’t make up any ground but she did not lose any ground either. The off track did not affect her either it seems and she definitely ran a pretty solid race to run third. She also earned some Oaks point so I am sure that she will be pointed towards another Oaks race in a couple of weeks.

And rounding out the superfecta here was this filly who closed nicely to get up for fourth. She was back about midpack early on and stayed there until it was time to be let loose. Once she was let loose she started making a decent charge down the lane and she ended up getting up for fourth. She was only beaten by two lengths so she can hang with these types so I am sure she will run in another Oaks points race.
Summary
Although the filly I thought was going to win did not I did think this filly stood a shot if she ran a big one. I did not expect her to win but she proved me wrong with a big strong win in here. She motored home late to get up for the win and she earned some valuable Kentucky Oaks points. I am sure she will be aimed towards another prep race. Congratulations to Appealing Ginger and her trained The Sidley Stud.
