This five year old seems to have found his niche now as he put two together for a comprehensive win in this competitive race. Running the perfect race from the perfect gate he was ready to take advantage and when he did he powered away for a two length win. He is now 3 from 7 on this surface and should never race on turf again as he looks like he could take a step further in this sort of race.

2nd     Loaded        Nakamura Stables     Thornton T

As the stable runners tend to do now he hunted for the lead out of the gate and got it comfortably from the wide gate. Leading from an inside gate compared to an outside gate however is very different with the outside ones tending to struggle inside the final furlong and that’s exactly what happened here. He held second gamely but was no match for his better drawn rival today.

3rd      Master Of Hounds         The Sidley Stud         Cotto P L Jr

Whacked away as he has a tendency to do running another solid race but not having anything to offer down the stretch. His record of placings now increases to 15 of 21 either second or third and you have to take your hat off to him for his consistency.

4th     Cajun In The Box        Night Rider Stables        Vargas J P

Never really got into it and when asked to take part his stamina had run out, did well enough to end up fourth.
