1st Audioslave, trained by Alydar Stables

Well the horse who I thought was the dark horse in the field showed up to run and got the money in the biggest race of his life so far. He stalked the pace before getting to the last and never looking back. Big money Mike Smith got the winning ride. He ran the race in 1:47.65 and earned $300.000.

2nd Bad English, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Well this horse ran another big race after the win three weeks ago in the LA Derby when he won in wire to wire fashion. They changed tactics this time and went to about midpack and it was really close to paying off for him. It looks like he is improving with every single race he runs in.

3rd One For Charlie, trained by TwinTowers Racing

One of the ones I didn’t think stood much of a chance ran a very big race to end up third in here after trying to go in the difficult wire to wire fashion. He sat the fractions the whole way until he got ran down but he only ended up being beat by three quarters of a length for all the big money.

4th Gene Chandler, trained by John Henry

Not a bad race from this race as he only got beat by three quarters of a length also when he came with his run down the lane. He came from about midpack and just could not get up in time. He ran a very good race really to not get beat far and barely get a piece of the big purse money.

Summary

Well this was an exciting race with less than a length separating the top four finisher in the field. The up and coming dark horse of the field ended up winning and that was Audioslave with the very big performance and win. He ran a great race and continued to Audioslave and Alydar Stables.
