Royal Valor Survives Over Los Pollos Hermanos in Jones Stakes
The Jones Stakes would come down to the wire on Tuesday, with the stewards needing to check on a tight photo that saw Royal Valor get the headbob over Los Pollos Hermanos to score the fifth win of his career. Royal Valor has had a successful 2023, winning four of his eight races, and would end up running fifth in the BEL a couple months ago.

Mo Mentum Farm Goes 1-2 In The Kings Plate
The Queens Plate, and now the Kings Plate, has been a great race for Mo Mentum Farm in the past, as the trainer has picked up two wins in it, with neither going back any further than 2017. That year, it was Laffin Parrot, and then in 2021 Freddo Cappuccino got the win. This year may have been an even better race for him, as not only did Mo Mentum Farm have the winner, he also had the second place finisher as well.

Mb Stables Has a Strong Trio for Jones Stakes
Taking a moment to look ahead, we will have entertaining racing at PRX on Tuesday as the thirteenth running on the Jones Stakes takes place. This isn’t a small run of the mill midweek stake, either, as it will feature multiple runners that ran in the Haskell, and others who ran in at least one prep race for the KYD.

Raw And Real Looks Real Good In DMR Oaks
Heading into the DMR Oaks, Raw And Real had been a horse that knew how to find her way to the winner’s circle, taking half of her twelve career starts. She was coming off of a win in the Lake George, and seemed to be one of the top choices in the field.

From Way Back To A Stake Record, Ginger Clean Wins Iselin Stakes
The Iselin Stakes had all the makings on paper of a tightly contested race where any of the horses involved could either win or finish at the back of the pack. Our pick for the race would be Ginger Clean, for The Sidley Stud, and she would end up making us look pretty good as she would step up and win by a length and a half.

New Name, Same Thrills in The Kings Plate
In December 2022, track officials announced that the race formerly known as the Queens Plate would be renamed to the King’s Plate due to the rise of King Charles III. Thus, we get the name change here in our virtual world as well, but no matter what the race is referred to as, we can count on it being a thrilling race.

DMR Oaks Looks Real Competitive
The highlight of the day at DMR on Saturday will be the 20th running of the DMR Oaks, which provides three year old fillies great opportunity to further their careers as the BC draws closer. It’s a nine furlong race on the grass, and has been a Grade 1 ever since it first appeared on our schedule.

The Iselin Stakes Is Definitely Up for Grabs
This Saturday at MTH, a field of six will be heading to the starting gate for the 18th running of the Iselin Stakes. This is a Grade 3 that sends three year olds, or older, a little over a mile on the main track. When the race first appeared on the schedule, it had a slightly longer distance, going a full nine furlongs and was also run for $250.000.

Fayette County Remains Perfect in Best Pal Stakes
The Grade 3 Best Pal Stakes took place at DMR on Sunday, and like many other two year old races, it figured to be unpredictable. Horses are still young and unproven, and you never know when someone will bust out with a big race at any time.

An Upset Victory for Stinky Rene in Beverly D
Virtual racing can be very unpredictable, can’t it? Coming into the Beverly D, there would have been no reason to make Stinky Rene you’re pick to win. She would go off as a 26/1 longshot and was not picked much in the pick ’em. Most that did probably just did so because of her 50/1 morning line odds.
