  • Perfect Trip Wins Knoblauch PRX Dirt Mile

Heading into the PRX Dirt Mile, Knoblauch had accomplised a lot over his 22-race career, but the one thing that he had done yet was win a race that was a mile or more. Having turf monsters is nothing new for Maxmillion Farm, but until this year, the trophy for the Turf Monster Handicap was not a part of his trophy case. Three months ago, he claimed Chilled Niagra for $25.000, and now just two starts later, the gelding is a stake winner.

  • Street Magician Comes on Late to Win Iroquois

The morning line odds for Street Magician were 12/1, but the gelding would see a lot of love in the pick ‘em, and that would lead to those odds dropping all the way to 3/1, and just narrowly missing becoming the post-time favorite. Street Magician would show that all of the support was justified as he rebounding from a sluggish outing in the Best Pal Stakes to win the Iroquois with a come from behind effort.

Let Me Explain has done it again! This talented filly came into the $1,500.000 Dueling Grounds Derby with ten wins in fifteen races, and had won the Acorn, BEL Oaks, and SAR Oaks in succession. This made her the favorite as well as being our pick to win, and she did not disappoint.
