Mb Stables Looks to Take Command of First Lady
An outstanding field has assembled for the 20th running of the Grade 1 First Lady at KEE, in hopes of taking the top share of the $750.000 purse that is being offered. That’s amount that was first reached in 2022, and is the high point for the race.

Shark Waters Cuts Back Just Fine, Wins Eddie D Stakes
For his entire career, even including his debut race, Shark Waters has run at least a mile. However, his last two races did not go particularly well, and this would lead to his trainer, Fractious, deciding to do something different with the gelding. In the Eddie D Stakes, he would only go six and a half furlongs, and it would prove to be the right call.

You’re Kidding? Well Done Wins The Hirsch Turf Classic
There was plenty of reason to think that Well Done would rebound well from a tough outing in his prior race, the Nashville Derby. Spankersville Should Be the Favorite to Win Woodward Again
On Saturday at the Big A, we will have either the seventh or the 22nd running of the Woodward, which is for three year olds and upwards on the main track. The confusion can come in due to the fact that the game separates the 2006-2020 editions run at SAR from the regular Woodward history.

King Que Niagra Seeks Third Straight Hirsch Turf Classic Win
For the last two years, King Que Niagra has celebrated a victory in the Hirsch Turf Classic and he will be back this year to try and complete the hat trick. Eight others are here to try and prevent that from happening as this Grade 1 turf race takes place for the 22nd time.

Drinkin Creepin Looks to Return to Winners Circle in Eddie D Stakes
Out west on Saturday, we will have the 21st running of the Eddie D Stakes, which is a turf sprint for three year olds and upward, and the race has received a very exciting purse increase. This had been a race with a purse of $100.000 or $200.000, but now in 2024, we have a large increase all the way to the $750.000 level.

Statement Victory for Divine Moonlight in The Cotillion
The field for the 2024 running of the Cotillion certainly lived up to its reputation of being as high caliber as a BC race may be. With so many different winners of big races leading into it, and others that did well in those races without winning them, it could be easy to look past a horse like Divine Moonlight.
