Lady Sammyantha Will Be Back in BC After Ballerina Win
It is now official: Lady Sammyantha will be returning to the BC Fillies and Mares Sprint to defend her title in that race, just as long as her trainer wants her there, after her victory in the Grade 1 Ballerina. It will become the third time that the veteran Ginger Haggis mare will be in the race, and she will look to become the second repeat winner of it.

Starting Over Looks to Win The Personal Ensign Once Again
It’s a big weekend at SAR, but all of the exciting racing is not going to be on Saturday. Friday will also give us a big Grade 1, as the $500.000 Personal Ensign takes place. This is a nine furlong race on the main track for older females and has been won in the past by the likes of Darling Harbour, Mrs Bombastic, and Z Command, among others.

After Thrilling Stretch Battle, Supine Wins DMR Oaks
Supine has not raced much yet, as the DMR Oaks marked just her fourth career start, as well as being her stake debut. A lot would be asked for her in this Grade 1, but she would show plenty of heart to prevail in a photo with Superface Party.
