    Saturday was a special day of racing at CD, as the historic track opened up for a special day of graded stake action, hosting races that were formerly held at AP. It would be highlighted by the Arlington Million, the most famous race that the former race track used to offer.

    A field of six will be heading to the starting gate for the 19th edition of the National Museum Of Racing, which is a Grade 2 race held on the grass. Over time, the distance of the race has varied, starting at nine furlongs, then losing 1/16th of a mile in 2011, then another sixteenth in 2019, to its current level.

    Checking in with racing at the Spa on Friday, we will have the 17th running of the Troy, which is a Grade 3 race for older horses. Until 2020, three year olds were able to participate in this turf sprint, but that would change during that year and it has remained that way.
