  • Howl Of The Hound Makes TC Statement in Winning The KYD

The excitement started in the afternoon at CD, with two year old fillies going to the starting gate. The winner of the race would be a horse named Blue Dream, serving as a precursor for what would be realized later in the evening. The dream would not be blue, but the opportunity to win what everyone would love: a KYD victory.

  • Not Trippin Now Wins CD at 30/1

Despite looking like one of the better horses in the field, Not Trippin Now was not given much of a chance by the betting public, and went off at odds of 30/1. He didn’t surprise us though, as he was made one of our picks, and if you boxed our top three picks, you would have had that large trifecta.

  • Laffy Crack Sneaks By Ete Creek in La Troienne

  • Number Nine Looks Fine on Lead to Win Bewitch

Number Nine has made her living going long in races like this, but she does it in an impressive fashion, by going right to the front and hoping to stay there until the end. Prior to the Bewitch, three of her six most recent races saw her go wire to wire to get a win, with the races distances being at least a mile and a quarter.

  • Pirate Petranella Seems Strong in Bewitch

This Saturday at KEE, older females that like to keep in running on the grass will head to the starting gate for the 17th running of the Grade 3 Bewitch. It offers a $150.000 purse to be divided up between its top four finishers, and that amount has been mostly constant throughout the history of the race.

  • Big Win for No More Haggis in The Tokyo City Cup

The last time that No More Haggis went a mile and a half, he won the Grade 3 Valedictory Stakes by four lengths. In shorter races, he was not able to show his ability to the fullest, but here in The Tokyo City Cup, he would go twelve again, and once again, he would win by four lengths

  • El Gran Condottieri Makes it Look Easy in Park Avenue

El Gran Condottieri came into the Park Avenue hoping for her second win after a run in the Grade 3 Honeybee was unsuccessful. It was the first time she had gone more than a mile, so on Sunday she figured to take a liking to sprinting again.
