D J C Racing Stables seemed to notice that when Bad Debt won the Southwest (GIII), he was on the lead… when he won the KYD (GI), he was on the lead… the writing was on the wall – SEND HIM!  And send him they did… setting the pace throughout The OK Derby (GIII) he cruised home to set a new track record, covering the mile and an eighth in 1:47.48 and went under the wire by two widening lengths.  The Stranger tracked the eventual winner throughout, but there was not catching that one today, so the runner-up spot was the answer.  It was another length to Jameson in third, and the same margin to Poison Arrow in fourth.  Six lengths covered the field, and the main RP track was listed as Fast.
