Baffle Baffles the field in the Day Mile Stakes

On the KYD under card Baffle pulled out a shocker in the Day Mile Stakes getting a nice stalking trip. The early pace setter Wild Spirits set a solid half mile pace at 47 seconds which helped set this race up for a horse that was sitting just off the pace, and the horse with the most juice right off the pace was Baffle. Baffle powered by Wild Spirits in the final quarter of a mile then drew away to a nice win by a length an a half. Royal Prodigy for MB Stables was a hard closing third in this race, and just ended up a bit to far back early on to get up in the end. Here is how the race and payouts broke down.
