Four Year Olds and Up
1st Barton Rovers, trained by Maxmillion Farm
Well this was a rainy day and kind of miserable conditions for most runners but not for this one as he scampered home to win by five lengths over the soft turf here at Gulfstream. He was dead last early by ten lengths and then he just blew by everyone in here and won by five. He ran the race in 2:30.81 and earned $120.000 for the win.

In my write up I have this horse almost zero chance and I still don’t think that he is much of a horse but he did run second in here but that was obviously because of the soft turf. He did outrun all those behind him though. He needs to look for a nice maiden special weight and pray for rain to come that day also.

I guess not a terrible race from this horse either as he was coming into this race off of losing in a claiming race so to run third is not bad at all. He did get beat by nine lengths by the winner and four by the second place finisher but he still ran third and is now graded stakes placed.
4th Steel Home, trained by Blazin D
Well I don’t think this horse cared for the soft turf at all either as he got beat by a distant nine lengths by the winner. He didn’t run terrible necessarily but it was definitely not his best race for sure and I think over a firm turf course he would have ran a whole lot better for sure.
Summary
Now this race was washed out and it just came down to who like the soft turf the most and the horse was obviously Barton Rovers who splashed home and romped by five lengths to win this race. He ran a very solid race and obviously really likes the rain. Congratulations to Barton Rovers and Maxmillion Farm.
