The BC Sprint- GI
CD Race 9 6F- Dirt
Purse $2,000.000
Three Year Olds and Up
1st Bay Of Plenty, trained by Team 7 Illusions
And finally Team 7 Illusions got this horse in the right race and it paid off for him very nicely. I always thought this horse liked to sprint more than he wanted to route but I understand why he was campaigned over a route of ground. He ran the race in 1:09.21 and earned $1,200.000 for the win.
2nd Moon Landing, trained by Mb Stables
Although this old hard knocker didn’t win he showed up once again like he does every single time. He is so consistent it’s crazy and he always runs his race. He closed from way back in the field to end up only getting beat by a neck and with another couple jumps he might have won the race.
3rd Creepy Palace, trained by D J C Racing Stables
Man this horse right here also ran a huge race to only get beat by a neck. He was way back in last early on in the race and closed with an huge rush to get up and nab the third place spot. He ran a very big race and actually almost got second in here. A very good performance by this horse for sure.
4th Hold My Steel, trained by John Henry
Well all of the horses in these top four spot closed from about midpack or farther back in this field. This horse closed from next to last and made up a whole lot of ground to only get beat by half of a length in the end. He ran a very respectable race and got a piece of the purse money at least.
Summary
Another very exciting race from this years Breeders Cup as only a neck separated the top three finishers. Bay Of Plenty got the money and the job done and held off Moon Landing and Creepy Palace near the line. Its was a very exciting race and congratulations to Bay Of Plenty and Team 7 Illusions.
