1 Big Moon Spirit- E J Wilson- The Stidley Stud- The Texas bred hopes to cure her case of seconidis with a win in the Whimsical. She’s coming in off 4 2nd place finishes in which all were graded stake races. She’s always right there but needs to find that extra more to secure a win. She can do that here as she clearly as the ability and on paper may have the slight edge. 5/2

Luz Says: Second place finishes prove her worth but is she a reliable choice?

2 Nine Eleven Heroes- J M Campbell- Night Rider Stables- She’s coming off back to back victories but today may be her biggest test. Only being claimed for $6.250 Night Rider hasn’t finished out of the money with this one and has even won 3 times including a claiming crown. 6-1

Luz Says: You can bet she will be a factor but she takes a huge step up in class.

3 Temporary Insanity- L Contreras- Threshold- Comes in off a disappointing effort in the Las Flores. She looks outclassed and has never been a factor at this level since her 2YO campaign. 15-1

Luz Says: Given an abundance of chances. Hard to give her another today.

4 Clutch Situations- P Husbands- D J C Racing Stables- Her last two races have been races you hope to be able to throw away but it is hard to do when you see what she was capable in prior races. This NY bred filly has 3 stake wins under her belt but the allowance race last out just gives me more questions than answers. 12-1

Luz Says: Takes another stab at stakes company but will need to return to form.

5 Noble One- G Boulanger- Mb Stables- Noble One lost the same allowance as Clutch Situations last out. Prior to that Noble One was 5th in the La Brea. I’m not sure if this filly is the same as we’ve seen in her 3YO season however she can’t be ruled out. 5-1

Luz Says: Give another chance but she won’t have it easy.
