Well the tote board got lit-up in this one! Seeking The Wind, sent off at 67/1 odds made every call a winning one, taking the Eclipse Stakes (GII) by a neck, getting the mile and a sixteenth in 1:41.15. Pinnacle West ran another bang up race to be second, while 91/1 shot Lettucerocku got the third spot, with post time favorite Make A Fortune running fourth.
Seeking The Wind is a 4YO bay gelding by Wild For The Night – Too Seek, by Too Native, and he was bred in KY by Team 7 Illusions. Purchased privately in July of 2015 for $140.000, he now shows three wins from thirteen starts, this being his second graded stakes score, and he has earnings of $360.700.

Seeking The Wind broke alertly, sent to the lead, got to the rail with five furlongs left, held off foe, won driving. Pinnacle West pressed the pace throughout, late gain, could not get past winner. Lettucerocku in hand while well off of the pace, some late gain, best of rest. Make A Fortune evenly, not a factor. Galvaston never involved. Salt Lake City outrun. Flying Warrior pressed the early pace, folded.
