KEE Race 6 1M – Dirt
Purse $1000.000
Three Year Olds and Up
1st Black And Red, trained by Australia Wide
A bridesmaid no more as he broke his recent jinx of comin in second when the money is on the line and he even overcame a terrible post to win. He settled near last and was even last for a part of the race. He came home in a storm and ran the mile in 1:34.99 and earned $600.000 for the head victory.
2nd Ice Wall, trained by RNP Stables
Three close seconds in a row for this horse and he ran his race once again and came up a head short. It looked like he was going to come away with the win but it was snatched away from him in the final strides. Heartbreaking loss for this runner.
3rd So Profound, trained by Asgar
A very hard trying third from this horse as he was right up behind the pace early on and even opened up on the field when they turned for home and had a two length lead at the top of the stretch. He ran very good and was also in the photo at the wire and was only beat a head.
4th Shadow Man, trained by Axeman
Also a very good effort from this horse and he closed from about midpack down the lane and rallied on to finish a good fourth only beaten a length. He ran hard and came closing very well and ran a good race to end up at least hitting the board.
Summary
A huge win and really unbelievable performance by the winner to come from the thirteen post and to close from that far back and actually get up in time to win. He also ran a very quick time and he should be on to better races from here. Congratulations to Black And Red and Australia Wide on the win.
