Franked his six length maiden win by taking out this race with a thoroughly professional display. Stalking early on he went to the front coming into the final furlong and quickly put them away. This looks a real star for the stable who bred this themselves and will be looking forward to this one competing for the stables first stakes win. The winning time was good so this one certainly looks good enough though the juvenile competition is hot this year.

2nd     Chappy       Broken Spoke Stables       Elliott S

Managed to avenge his last race defeat but found another one too good. In a good position throughout he couldn’t handle the winner down the stretch but kept on valiantly for second.

3rd     Vintage Vinyl       Luz International        Sorenson D

After another flying finish i cannot wait to see this one over a mile. He just looks the type that will do well over a longer trip even though his conformation suggests he is more of a sprinter.

4th    Crawdaddy Captain      Woogaloo      Luzzi L J

I expected some improvement from his debut run and it was there but he went a bit too hard too early to try and negate his draw and ended up toiling down the stretch. There will be a maiden win in this ones future very soon.
