1st: #7 Buffalo G (Nakamura Stables/D.E. Centeno): Tracked the four-way battle for the front from the two-path in the early stages.  Was pushed-out by Crazy Ivan nearing the turn before willingly giving up ground in search of a clear path.  Made progress on the leader through the turn and unleashed full rally once in the lane.  Finally reached the front just inside the furlong-marker and was all out to hold off the runner-up.

2nd: #1 Wingman (Angelos Stable/P. Lopez): Dwelt at the rear in the early stages while hugging the rail.  Moved to at least five-wide entering the turn with some good momentum.  Rallied strongly while widest of all, but couldn’t collar the winner.

3rd: #2 Crazy Ivan (Mb Stables/Ru. Silvera): Raced just inside the eventual winner early.  Moved off of the rail nearing the turn.  Found room in the lane, but could not match strides with the top two.

4th #9 Dreams Of Men (Maxmillion Farm/T. Gaffalione): Contested the early lead from the outside of a four-horse pack.  Made the front, while still wide, entering the backstretch.  Put away his pack-mates exiting the turn, but couldn’t hold.

Buffalo G completed the flat mile in 1:32.82 and improved his record to 28-10-5-3 with earnings of $598.800.  He currently sits 12th on the G1 BC Mile leaderboard, but may need help to hold onto his spot in the field.  Congratulations to Buffalo G and Nakamura Stables on their victory in the G2 City Of Hope Mile!
