Bullet Dash Spanks Elders in CC Tiara

CC Tiara $150.000
-Churchill Downs Louisville, KY

Bullet Dash, a three-year-old filly from Spb Racing spanked a field of mostly older runners to win The CC Tiara Stakes in game fashion. A nice job by her connections that have been with us for only three years, well done! R U Ready To Code from The Sidley Stud came charging in the lane to just miss in yet another solid performance. She has been lights out since the pocket change claim back in late June. Yesterday’s Queen from Wood Racing Stable made up solid late ground and also just missed in a game effort as the bet down public choice, Pelayo, from Bears Stable, was the headliner looking for eight straight. She ran another good one here today and never gave up, she just couldn’t quite wear down the top three finishers.

Of the rest:

Rowdy Spirit from Sim Speed Stable certainly outran her odds and finished a solid fifth after failing to win a NW1Y in her last start. She should find her way into the charmed circle soon.

Code Red And Ready from Fractious ran well right off the claim and looks poised to go back up the ladder.

Expletive Deleted from Diablo Diablo gave her backers a pretty good sight for a horse that probably was hoping for rain and slightly easier company.

Pollards Game from La Canada Racehorses did not have the best of trips and also ran in spots. Tab this one for marked improvement in her next start.

Feral Mystic from Asgar failed to menace and appears not to like the CD surface.

Little Chair from Mb Stables pushed her way into a decent enough spot and then backed up in the drive as she tested turf for the first time today.

Erupt In War from Team 7 Illusions led every step of the way and then faltered. She has been retired for breeding by her connections.

McCaskill from Royalty Stables showed no early zip and failed to menace today.

Two Creepy Chrystals from Maletto had no speed and no answers at all today in a less-than-stellar performance. Check the vet’s list; she possibly bled or might need a layoff.

Lady Hamilton from Spb Racing helped give her connections both bookends of the CC Tiara today. Her draw probably helped seal that deal.
