Summer at the Jersey shore… and the racing is unbelievable. What a great field we catch for the 2022 Haskell (GI), going the classic mile and an eighth distance on the MTH main oval. Every track has a Derby, but the Haskell is a race that always draws the top sophomores, and no difference for this one.

I’ve landed on Up In Smoke as my top selection in this one. If I’m not mistaken, I think I was high on him (see what I did there?) in the KYD (GI) where he just didn’t get going… but he bounced back with a big run in the BEL (GI) and I just think he’s a horse that can get it done today.

Another that deserves a look is All Take. The PRK (GI) winner also won the TAM Derby (GII) and has been close in a few other graded races. He was also fourth in the BEL (GI), certainly nothing to be ashamed of in that finish.

Speaking of the BEL (GI), let give that winner, Ocean Of Wisdom, a big look. He lit it up in that race, going wire-to-wire. He has five wins from ten starts, so he’s no stranger to getting his picture taken.

There’s a couple others that I think you should include in your tri tickets, but let’s ride this trio and see how it goes.
