Two Year Olds Fillies
1st Camp Hollywood, trained by Estero Farms
Well I talked to my man Estero Farms the day before the race and asked him if he thought he had a chance and he said that he was expecting a big race. She won by a good margin of two lengths and ran a very big race. She ran in 1:35.23 and earned $240.000 and is on the way to the Breeders Cup.
2nd Letting Go, trained by Team 7 Illusions
I’m not going to lie I definitely didn’t think this filly had much of a chance but she sure did prove me wrong. She ran a very good race and hung in there tough to not get passed by any more of the runners. She ran a very good and maybe we will also see her in the Breeders Cup with the winner.
3rd Gingerandmarryann, trained by Nakamura Stables
Not a bad run at all from this filly either she ended up dead hearing for third and only got beat three lengths by an impressive winner. She sat about midpack most of the way and passed a couple of tired ones late. She didn’t run all that bad and is turning out to be a pretty decent filly.
3rd Vibration, trained by Smokey Stover
This fIlly also ran very good and she ran third in a dead heat with Gingerandmaryann and she came from more near the back than any of the other runners did. She was closing late on the runners in front of her but it wasn’t enough of a move to catch the top finishers. She ran pretty good though.
Summary
Well I think from now on if a trainer tells me they like their chances I’m going to go ahead and listen very good because Estero Farms told me he was expecting a big race from Camp Hollywood. She is on her way to the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies now. Congratulations to Estero Farms and Camp Hollywood.
