1 Darkest Days, trained by Mb Stables
A winner of five from eight she is an easy choice with an ace draw and the three year old allowance. She easily won the Golden poppy last time out over this trip in a sub 1.40 race time. A repeat of that will be enough.

2 Christine, trained by John Henry
Won the grade one First Lady last season and is the winner of ten races and well over a thousand dollars. Being a six year old she has a better chance than some of beating the weight allowance and with a good draw she may be the one to stem the three year old dominance.

3 Twin Eagles, trained by Big D Stable
Lightly raced she has won two from three including the Honey Rider last time out.  The weight allowance puts her right into this and her works are good enough to see her right in the finish.

4 Therapy, trained by TwinTowersRacing
Good enough overnight form but this is a tough race and as a four year old she is unfavoured by the weight allowance.

5 Ethics Are Key, trained by Threshold
A similar story for this four year old she would have to run a career best race just to get into the top four.

6 Tightness, trained by EasyMoney Stables
She has good enough form to win this but whilst the three year old weight allowance will help her the wide draw will not. She finished in front of Darkest Days in the BC Juvenile turf last year and will do very well to confirm those placings.

7 Hang Fire, trained by paradise Stable
Not onlt has she the disadvantage of being a four year old she also has to live with the outside draw. Those two factors make this very hard for her.

SUMMARY
The only question about this race is whether Christine can split or even beat the three year olds. She is no doubt the classiest horse in the race so i am hopeful but i have seen too many older horses fail to give weight to three year olds to really be confident. Without her it looks between Darkest Days, Twin eagles and Tightness.
