You know the old saying, if there’s a Derby, there’s an Oaks… ok, that’s not a saying, but it certainly seems to be the way it goes, so let’s look at the CA Cup Oaks.  The Card seems to be on the same page as me in this one, as I’ve landed on The Lady Of Sod as my top selection, and I think she rolls today.  She had three wins in a row before that pair of thirds vs. open stakes company, and one of the wins were over this course, at the distance… all good stuff.  I’ll go right next door and take Piatt in the second spot… she’s undefeated other than the fourth in the Jessamine (GII) at KEE back in the fall… if she runs her race, she could be a tough nut… I love the exacta, and as Max always tells ya, BOX ALL EXACTAS.
