Up She Flew Overpowers Rivals In Stretch to Win Ballerina

Riggins Racing is certainly no stranger to success at the highest levels, but with his barn not being as active as it had been in the past, we have been unable to talk about him winning major races at the same frequency. He’s had plenty of reason to celebrate thus far in his return, and now in the Ballerina, he can do a little dancing as well, because he’s clinched another spot in the BC.

All Three TC Race Winners to Run in The Travers

It’s time for the Midsummer Derby! Any day that Saratoga Race Course is open is an exciting day, but there is none bigger at this race track than Travers weekend. Fans from all over will make their way to the track for this special weekend while many more will be tuned in to watch it, and of course, wager on it.

Full Field Ready to Dance in The Ballerina

The biggest day of the SAR meet is upon us, and while the crowd will file in to watch the Travers, they will get treated to multiple Grade 1 races, some of which have major BC implications. The Ballerina is on the undercard, but it has plenty riding on it, as it is a “win and you’re in” race for the BC Fillies and Mares Sprint.

DMR Oaks Looks Real Competitive

The highlight of the day at DMR on Saturday will be the 20th running of the DMR Oaks, which provides three year old fillies great opportunity to further their careers as the BC draws closer. It’s a nine furlong race on the grass, and has been a Grade 1 ever since it first appeared on our schedule.
