Fourteen Fillies Take Part in The Music City Stakes
It’s another big weekend of racing at KD, with many high purses sitting there for the taking for top turf horses. Three year old fillies have filled up the starting gate for Saturday’s running of the Grade 2 Music City Stakes, hoping to get the top portion of the $2,000.000 purse that is available.
Mo Ki Mo Closes Well to Win KD Ladies Sprint
We had some rain fall at KD, and that left the turf simply as good and led to the scratches of two horses. That did not completely dampen the day, or the running of KD Ladies Sprint, as we still had eleven horses going to post, and Smokey Stover smiling in the winner’s circle after the race.
