It’s safe to say that I didn’t see this coming in the Suburban, but neither did most of the bettors, as Eight West Party was a 16/1 longshot for the race and only two other horses had longer odds.

The final weekend of racing at BEL for the summer gives us plenty of reason to be excited before high end action resumes in New York at SAR. Part of the Saturday card is the 19th running of the Suburban, which is a ten furlong race held on the main track.
