After a tough race in the Wise Dan, One Last Punch Line returned to the main track in hopes of getting back into the win column. He had won two of three before the Wise Dan, and is certainly not a stranger to running on the dirt. Despite that, he would be one of the longest shots on the board, at odds of 13/1.
Nine To Run in Read Stakes on Sunday
Sunday’s card at DMR will be highlighted by the 21st running of the Grade 2 Read Stakes, whch is a nine furlong race on the grass. When we first saw the race in 2003, it debuted for a $400.000 purse, but it has unfortunately only gone down since then.

King Que Niagra will be in action this Saturday, as the gelding is one of seven horses taking part in the 19th running of the United Nations Stakes from MTH. This is the first year that the race will be run as a grade 2, as it received a downgrade in its classification from last year, but the $600.000 purse was not changed.
