A good race took place Sunday evening in the Grade 2 Summertime Oaks, featuring several fillies that ran in the KYO. At the end of the race, the top three spots were filled by those who did, but it would be Intolerable picking up the win.

Billy Joel Picks Up Where He Left Off in Whittingham Stakes
It was good to see Billy Joel, the reigning BC Turf champion, back on the track for the first time since the Pegasus World Cup Turf in late January. He entered the race on a three race winning streak, with all of those wins coming in Grade 1’s, so the only reason for there to have been any doubts about him would be a concern on his layoff.
Powerful Stretch Push Puts Promised Prince First at PEN Mile
Friday was a wet day throughout the northeast, and PEN would be no exception. A steady rain that began in the early afternoon and lasted throughout the night took its toll on the track, leaving the turf course as yielding. This would lead to one scratch, but it would be the horse that we predicted would be the one to beat, in High Planker.
