Not all of the great races on Saturday are being held at KD, as WO also looks to get in on the fun with the 18th running of the Canadian Stakes. This is a nine furlong race held on the grass for female horses and offers a $200.000 purse.

Last year, an already great racing weekend at KD saw the addition of the Ladies Marathon, giving fillies and mares that want to run more than just the mile that was possible in the KD Turf Cup, a chance to show their skills.
