Strong Field Lined Up for Sunday’s Wilshire Stakes

On Sunday at SA, we will have the 17th running of the Wilshire Stakes, a Grade 3 event on the turf for older females. The race first appeared on the schedule at HOL in 2006, and has been run every year other than 2016. It was in 2014 that the race was moved to SA, and the purse level has been consistent at $100.000 since its inception.

Who Will Get Higher in Woodstock Stakes?

It’s the final week of April, and while trainers are thinking about CD next week, there are still quality races to talk about before we get to that point. The $125.000 Woodstock Stakes might not be near the top of that list, but it still provides a solid racing opportunity for three year old sprinters.
