Sinister City Looks Formidable in The BEL Oaks
As the fabulous card at BEL continues on Saturday, we will have the 21st running of the BEL Oaks, which is a great opportunity for female turf horses to win a large purse and valuable points for the BC Fillies and Mares Turf that is now just four months away.
Another Great Field Lined Up for The Suburban
The final weekend of racing at BEL for the summer gives us plenty of reason to be excited before high end action resumes in New York at SAR. Part of the Saturday card is the 19th running of the Suburban, which is a ten furlong race held on the main track.
Increased Purse Means Stronger Field in The Manila
This Friday at BEL, the featured race of the day will be the ninth running of The Manila, a nice Grade 3 event for three years on the turf, and it will be the biggest of this race that we have ever seen. That is because of the purse increase, as in the past the stake only had a $100.000 purse associated with it.
