Energizer Party is the One to Beat in Station

For Three Year Olds

1 Calling All Angels (D J C Racing Stables)

Second by a neck in the Oceanside in July. Close again in the Secretariat where he finished third. Just doesn’t seem to be able to get to the winner’s circle. A little softer spot than he’s used to lately, so maybe this will be his day.

2 Duke Of Satire (Nakamura Stables)

Coming in off an allowance win at ELP. Solid allowance horse but hasn’t been able to break through to stakes level. And not for lack of trying. Needs to up his game to get it done here.

3 The Southern Way (Riggins Racing)

Another good allowance horse looking for his first stakes win. Likes off-going, so if the turf comes up soft, he might be the one to watch.

4 Weaponized I R S (TwinTowersRacing)

Broke his maiden by two in his sixth try last out. This one could suffer from lack of experience.

5 Details Matter (Alydar Stables)

Won the Singletary Stakes in May but hasn’t hit the board in four tries since then. May be a bit outclassed here.

6 Gallant (Royalty Stables)

Winless this year. In fact, he hasn’t hit the board in 2023. A tough spot for this colt.

7 Energizer Party (Mb Stables)

Won the Secretariat two back and scored broke the course record in the effort. If he runs back to that form, he will be tough to beat.

8 Solar Coast (Smokey Stover)

Won the Pennine Ridge in June and followed that up with a third in the BEL Derby. Those performances were beyond a mile. Shortens up here but remains to be seen if it will benefit him.
