Short turn-around with the Memorial Day weekend behind us, but the summer stakes action will be fast and furious… today, we catch a number of great race at the Twin Spires, and the Arlington Stakes is right in front of us.  Older gents going a mile and a sixteen on the Louisville lawn and this looks like one of those races that could go any-whitcha-whatcha-way.  I may have taken the easy way out, but Mb looks tough in here with Flaming Hot, and that’s exactly what he looked like off of the $25.00 hostile takeover pulled at the FG.  He came back to whoop up on ’em in the Muniz Mem Hcp (GII) over that same course.  Let’s give Absolutely Grande a big shot in this one, as well, although he’s still looking for his first win of the ’24 season.  He was third over this course in the River City (GIII) and second at GP in the Canadian Turf (GIII), so he’s a good fit, for sure.
