14 FE Prince of Wales Stakes
$400.000 3yo Foaled In Canada 1 3/16m Dirt 121lbs
Monday’s Prince of Wales Stakes seemed to be a one horse show for the first mile and an eighth… then, it was a different horse putting on a show. Closing from well off of the pace, Glorify Stables’ Center Broadway flew past Parisian Arrow, the Asgar trained pace setter, taking the win with a new track record time of 1:53.94, over the main oval at FE, marked Fast. The margin of victory was listed as a length, but was more than that, and widening. It was two lengths to Mb Stables’ Disclosed in third, then another half length to Mountain King, from the Paradise Stable, in fourth. Eight lengths covered the field of six.
