The Card hands out a nice $240 tri, everyone takes home some money and Mb Stables continues to show that they know how to take home the big bucks – a nice $400.000 purse in the Breeders Stakes.  A rather anti-climactic race with only two owners participating, but Charlie Jace takes the win in impressive wire to wire fashion… a commanding performance (see what I did there?), a new stakes record, stopping the clock at 2:24.60, winning by as many as he wanted to win by.  Duke Of Love from  Mo Mentum Farm nabbed the second spot, then a length to Prickly and another two lengths to Cher Lorraine in the fourth spot.  Nine lengths covered the field of five and the WO turf course was listed as Firm.
