The Green Card missed badly on this one, and by the odds of the top four finishers, quite a few people missed.  Panionios Racing’s Chca Lugo held off the late closing Oceanus to take a monster purse from The Apple Blossom Hcp (GI) and hand this stable it’s first Grade I victory!  The OP track was listed as fast, and the bay filly got the mile and a sixteenth in 1:41.26.  This was a very close finish from first to worst, with Horing Gal a quarter length back in third, nosing out Starving Artist in fourth, and only four lengths covering the field of twelve.
