The track was fast and so was Chrystal Cave. Maletto’s filly came away from the gate fast and led at every call before hitting the wire a half-length ahead of Dragon Ginger who stalked the pace throughout and made a big move in the stretch. It just wasn’t enough to get past Chrystal Cave. It was the third win in five starts for the daughter of Broken Chrystal (Kalling Kard by Calling The Gods). The victory was the second in stakes company and brings her career earnings to $225.010.

Order of Finish:

1 Chrystal Cave (Maletto) led at every call and won by 1/2 length.

2 Dragon Ginger (First Flight Stable) stalked the pace throughout but came up short at the wire.

3 Metaverse (Angelos Stable) Came from last to finish within 3/4 length of the winner.

4 Yas Queen (Arindel) Second early but faded to finish fourth.

5 Clutterbuck (Blazin D) In the mix early but faded to finish fifth.

6 Power Ache (Power Racing) Never a factor.
