#1 Sufficient (Mb Stables) Six starts for this gelding, just one win. Finished 2nd by a head in the CA-bred $200.000 Simcoe two starts back, but came in tenth in his last start, the Grade 1 Breeders Futurity at 1 1/16 mile. Should like this level and distance much better.
#2 Grusome Secret (Big Guns Stables) Allowance winner, came in 4th in the $100.000 Frost King Stakes here at WO. May be a bit outclassed here.
#3 So Steep (Asgar) Broke his maiden at CD in May. Hasn’t done much since then in allowance and stakes company. Will need to bring his A-game to win here.
#4 Ole Sass (Arindel) Won in MSW company last out after a second in his only other start. Looks like a good one, but might be asking too much here.
#5 Fresh (Mo Mentum Farm) Second in the $100.000 ON-bred Frost King Stakes here at WO last start. Could have a say in this one.
#6 Derby Illusions (Nakamura Stables) Maiden win at MNR first out, then tried allowance company at FL but couldn’t hit the board. Will need more than racing luck to compete here.
#7 Recovery (Mb Stables) Not as strong as Mb’s other entrant. Broke his maiden at first asking at SA, then tried allowance and stakes level but hasn’t hit the board yet at that level.
#8 So Twizted (Asgar) Broke his maiden at TAM at first asking. Faltered in allowance company, then stepped up to stakes and has hit the board in all of his last three starts at that level. Due for a win and this could be it.
#9 Pussycat Scream (Night Rider Stables) Still a maiden. Just one start to his credit and that was at PEN. Not expecting much from this gelding.
