Ran a heck of a race in the SA Hcp (GI) even though he was sixth. He passed a bunch of horses late to only get beat a length. He had a big win on the turf in the GP Turf Hcp (GI) so it looks like he’s in pretty good form right about now. Could this be his break-out race on the main track?
Nice run to be fourth in the SA Hcp (GI) and a few more jumps and he may have gotten the job done that afternoon. He made a steady living beating NY-breds last season and has been competitive in two GI efforts this year. He’s a horse that may be setting on the button for a big win.
Very lightly raced but that second place finish in the Stymie certainly turned a few heads. Only four starts and he’s eligible for N1X Alw races, but here he sits and he may be ready to make a name for himself. His front running style could be a big benifit with this group, if he can run away and hide from them.
Classy ol’ rascal but he didn’t win a race in 2015, yet still stuffed $966.000 in the bank. He barely lifted a hoof in the SA Hcp when twelfth of fourteen, so he’s going to have to find some old magic or it may be off to the breeding shed with him.
A couple of massive wins last season which included the BEL Derby and the Haskel, so it’s pretty obvious that he has the ability to get it done. They switched him over to the sod for his first two efforts of ’16 and now comes back to the main track looking to score again. This may be a spot for him to get another big payday.
Tired to be sixth in the San Carlos (GII) at SA in his most recent and that certainly was disappointing after that big win on SSM Day down in SoFla. He made a small fortune last year wining three of ten starts, so he has class and the ability to run big when it counts.
Well this one certainly has been able to be consistant and bring home a check, so the big barn moves him up a step after the win in the Razorback Hcp (GIII) over this strip last out. He looked good that day, setting all the fractions and kicking clear late. Can he do it again?
