1st Clockwork Chai, trained by Mb Stables
I said this was one of the most obvious winners in the history of HRP in my review of this race and the three year old didnt disappoint. Having said that I thought he would win by six lengths and he only managed one length so I was actually a little disappointed in the performance. Considering the crazy weight allowance and the comfortable draw and trip he got his fourth win in a row was probably his least impressive especially when you consider he went comfortably under 133 for the mile with 5 Lbs more on his back in the Kittens Joy. So this was a good win against older horses and wont be his last for sure.

considering the weight he was giving a horse that was faster than him in both races and works this was a very good run even though it was his third second placing in a row this year. Clearly a rapidly improving type he should continue having a good season especially when the weight allowances for three year olds ease a little.

3rd What A guarantee, trained by John Henry
disappointing again and still cant find the form that saw him third in the KYD last year.

4th Hrudley, trained by Axeman
Considering his work times and his weight allowance I was pretty disappointed with this run but I have a feeling he was too close to the pace early on.
