The 2yo filly champion just has not been the same since selling for $1,000.000 back in March – just a single win since changing addresses and that was a dead-heat. She hasn’t hit the board since that race back in May so it’s just really hard to go crazy on her right now. If she runs her best… you know… but that’s a big if.
All or nothing type that shows four wins from six starts this year. Nice win in the Acorn (GI) back in June but not much from her in the Hirsch Stakes (GI) last out. She’s got the class, has the ability, and I won’t be surprised if she wins here today but I’m just not high on her right now.
Although she’s been close in a few graded affairs of late, her last win was way back in Jan, in her seasonal debut when she scored at SA in the Las Virgenes (GI). She loves to make one big run from off of the pace, but either needs to be a bit closer or be asked to run a bit earlier.
Has run third in back to back GI races, which is quite impressive considering she was plucked from a $28.000 claiming race back in Nov. Bullet work at BEL getting ready for this one and she will need her A-game to get anything here. She seems to be on her A-game right now.
Back to back win v. NY bred then three nice closing effort when raised up to black-type races. This filly looks like she still has some room to improve and this could be a spot for her to finally put it all together and get a huge win. A change of pilot could be the little extra.
Had back to back graded wins in her four race win streak, and still looked solid in the two third place finishes. I like the jock change as well as her race gap and morning works. She certainly knows how to get the job done and I’d giver her some serious consideration here today, especially if it’s dry.
Another solid effort when DH for third with the six horse last out in the CCA Oaks (GI). She’s always around when they hand out checks and seems to be a tough luck sort. Is today the day when that all changes??
Fifth in the CCA Oaks (GI) and the owner had evidently seen enough as she changes hands for this one. Steady series of works getting read for this one and could she prove to be a very smart buy for this outfit? A repeat of the at Summertime Oaks (GI) may be the ticket.
Lit ’em up with a nice closing effort in the Alabama (GI) at SAR where she won by a length at 19/1 odds. That was her fourth win this season so it isn’t like she didn’t know how to get the job done. I doubt that you get those odds today but she is certainly a horse that has to be considered.
Steps up to graded company after a couple of state-bred stakes efforts at WO. She’s eligible to run in NW2X so this is certainly asking a lot from her at this point. I just can’t get crazy on her with this bunch.
Aired them out, getting back on the winning track in the MTH Oaks (GIII) where she ran off by six lengths in pretty quick time. She won the KY Oaks (GI) so she certainly has the class, the ability and the form to be a big horse in this one.
Changed hands but ran her win streak out to four races, taking the DEL Oaks (GIII) by a nose. Six wins and a pair of seconds from her eight lifetime starts certainly tells you that she has a ton of ability. She’s never that far back, knows how to pass horses and loves to run her eye-balls out.
Won the IND Oaks (GII) and then was fourth in the Alabama (GI) at SAR last out. She certainly has the ability to be a factor, but the post does her no favors. I’d giver her a serious look on the tri ticket.
