A huge day of racing, here at CD, and we look at the field of seven females set to go a mile on the Louisville lawn in the CD Distaff Turf Mile (GII).  A big race like this always draws a stellar group, and certainly no different in this one… it’s loaded!  I went with what could/should be the chalk and put Poetic Panther on top… fresh off of that win at KEE, taking the Wiley (GI) vs. some of these, she’s been on the board in all three ’25 starts, and no reason to think otherwise here.  The ONLY question would be if the course comes up wet… then… well… Let’s go right next door and put Secret Of A Lady in the thick of things.  She closed well to be third in the Wiley, and when your worst recent race is a fourth, with the excuse of being on the main track, yeah… she’s a real solid grass filly.  Same here, if it rains, I’d probably start looking elsewhere, and for me, that elsewhere is Wander.
