Three Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares

1. Miss Steel Mazula (6-3-0-0 $113.970), trained by Nakamura Stables

First runner in the field here and she is coming into this race off of a win in the four horse California Oaks at Golden Gate. She steam rolled that group but the competition is a lot tougher here. She’ll need to run a big one.

2. Data Overload (7-3-0-2 $238.920), trained by Mb Stables

Next up in the field is a filly coming out of the grade two Eight Belles at Churchill Downs. She ran a very good race that day to finish third beat in less than a length. If she can run as good as she did that day she should have a chance to win.

3. Girls Night (5-3-0-0 $104.300), trained by D J C Racing Stables

Now to this filly she is trained by the wizard D J C Racing Stables. Last out she was fourth in the grade two Black Eyed Susan at Pimlico. She was beaten only a length. That day and if she improves she should have a good chance.

4. Chill Out (9-2-2-1 $111.320), trained by Mb Stables

Second runner for NB stables in this field and in her last start she won the grade three Selene here at Woodbine. She likes this track and ran very well in her last race so if she can run as she did that day she should be very tough to beat.

5. Rebel Genie (7-2-1-1 $119.460), trained by Tiratzo

After a couple of tries on the Oaks trail she went into the Parx Oaks last time and ran a very good second.This is a little tougher field but I think she has a chance to at least hit the board if she runs a good race.

6. Amaris (10-4-3-1 $127.540), trained by First Street Stables

Next up is a filly who has never ran this far in her entire career. She has sprinted every time to this point so she will need to be able to handle a route of ground to have a shot at winning this.

7. Ghost In The Shell (16-5-1-2 $760.580), trained by John Henry

The class of the field here but she has been in not so great form as of late. If she can run just as good on the turf as she has on the dirt she should win this. She is the unknown of this field.

8. Southern Two Step (19-6-4-3 $592.940), trained by The Sidley Stud

Final in the field here and she is a nice filly and is coming off of two seconds in a row against grade company. She should be able to have a good shot if she can get a good trip from this post.

Summary

A nice field here but no real standout in this field but Ghost In The Shell is the class of the field. I think she gets back to her old form and comes away with the win here.
