This field seems relatively soft, a good spot for someone to get their first stakes win. Or in the case of Stacysmomgotitgoinon and Lonely, it could mean a return to the winner’s circle at this level. Whatever the case, Stacysmomgotitgoinon seems to be a standout in this field. Then again, Zola could come up with a big performance and take home the win.

Looking for her second win this year. Hasn’t been to the winner’s circle since winning the Franklin Square in January. Third last out in the NY Oaks for NY-breds. May benefit from the shorter distance here.
#2 Zola
Owner: Royalty Stables
Winless this year but did finish second by a nose in the Eatontown Stakes (G3) in June and in the Sidney before that. This looks to be a softer spot than she’s been placed in so far this year. Could have a say in the outcome.
#3 Hunt For Love
Owner: D J C Racing Stables
Coming in off a maiden special weight win at SAR sprinting. She has been successful on turf, but not really at a mile and beyond. Needs to step up and stretch out to get part of the purse here.
#4 Dabz
Owner: Gdp Inc
Broke her maiden two starts back in maiden claiming company at PIM. Last out she finished third in top-level allowance company. Another one that needs to step it up a bit.
#5 Killeen
Owner: First Flight Stable
Winless this year. Best performances came in the NYSS – Joy two starts back where she finished third and a third in the May for NY-breds in February. Likes the turf. Distance is a question mark.
#6 Talk Of The North
Owner: Mb Stables
Only three starts for this one. In her third start, tried graded level and finished fifth of five. Will pass on this one.
#7 Stacysmomgotitgoinon
Owner: Big Jd Racing
Second in the Lake George (G3) last out after winning the NYSS – Joy in May. Always competitive. Finished out of the money just once in seven starts this year. Looks like the one to beat.
#8 Magically Inspired
Owner: Invicta Group Llc
Purchased for $20.000 in July. Prior to that, had some success in allowance company, although never quite made it to the winner’s circle in that company. Another one making a big step up, but this could be the place to do it.
