1 Twizzle Mo Mentum Farm Kocakaya G 123 —

Bought at the end of last year for $65.000 you would expect a mare with that price tag to be competitive in this sort of race. he has taken a while to settle into the yard but won her last in a state bred optional claimer on this track and with a lightening work of 1.10 and 1 over the six after that win I think she may be paying that purchase price today.

2 Fuzzy Math TwinTowersRacing Luzzi L J 123 —

A tough and consistent mare she had made the running before being run down by Twizzle in her last start so one would expect another close race between those two today. If she gets a soft lead she wont have to improve much to turn the tables.

3 Lonely Ace Racing Stable Silvera Ru 125 —

This six year old has run 42 times and has been wonderfully consistent winning nine and placing in nineteen. She carries a penalty today which wont make it easy but she has the class and experience to overcome it and she is drawn that she will launch from a couple back and wont give up without a fight.

4 Avatar Spankys Barn Franco M 125 — ‘

Another with a two pound penalty she probably has the best form on paper here with a very close second in the grade two Garden Lady and not far away in the Ballerina at grade one last August. She has been off the track for a while so may need this run but class will carry her a long way.

5 Tunted Mb Stables Gomez J A 123 —

This seven year old was bought at auction for just $40.000 and went straight to the ONT Fashion to run third at the end of last year. She has run twice already this year recording a win at GP. Her recent work of 1.10 flat was very very fast for a mare and would see her winning this but it isn’t as simple any more as just having the best work and she is not a sure thing. She is proven in black type, hails from the champs stable so should certainly be a big contender.

6 Line Of Flight D J C Racing Stables Spencer J P 123 —

Never far away including in this sort of grade but she does have to find a finish from somewhere to improve her win ratio. Good enough works there is no reason why she wont be a top four.

7 So Blitz Asgar Lezcano J 123 —

I like this one but she will need some luck as it seems her best form is as a late finisher and we know how hit and miss that can be sometimes. I liked her run over a mile last time but there will need to be a stamina sapping pace for her to get over the top of them.

8 Chase The Money Avenue Z Carmouche K 123 —

Draws the car park, she isn’t a bad sort who could run a race if the race engine is kind. Her win at GP last time was very nice and her sprint works are good but I am not sure whether she will go back or forward here. If she can slip into mid pack and not get hung out wide she may be a dark horse here.

SUMMARY

Two fast workers here in Tunted and Twizzle I would expect both to run well and possibly one of them will win. Chase The Money would be my each way bet.
